Medea runs away with her lover, Jason, and has two children with him. However, Jason leaves her and marries Glauce, the daughter of Creon, to further his quest for power. Burning with anger, Medea takes revenge on Creon and Glauce — but this also breaks her own heart and leads to her destroying herself in the end. Mixing in Shakespearean bravado, contemporary dance, traditional Korean music pansori and even some emotive Korean soap opera Jeong-ga, Limb divides Medea into two characters: mother  and lover, consequently referring to the theory of simulacra (avatars), creating an original theatre piece between East and West.
