Kaguramusō

The Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre, 18.09.2022 19:00

A Japanese instrumental heavy metal band formed in October 2020. The band fuses the beautiful sounds of Japanese traditional instruments with the aggressive and heavy sounds of metal. The band’s high level of musicality, which unites the conflicts between “Japanese and Western”, has attracted attention from the United States and many Eurasian countries.

The impact created by combining opposites such as “silence and noise” or “light and dark” is made through sound and visuals. Kagura, a form of music and dance performed in honor of a deity. When the fans and listeners are becoming “deities”, those who perform dances in front of them become “Kagura”. This is the one and only “Musō” that creates a whirlwind in the world of music.
