Once a star in his finance firm, Bowen (starring Aaron Kwok) now spends his nights in a 24-hour fast food joint, where he encounters others “roommates” who are in a similar predicament: a mother (starring Cya Liu) with her daughter who has taken out high-interest loans to cover her mother-in-law’s debt, an old man (starring Alex Man) who is too afraid to go home, a young runaway (starring Zeno Koo), a young singer (starring Miriam Yeung) living in a temporary shelter. Together these accidental roommates must strive to lift one another out of rock bottom.  i' m livin' it" is inspired by the increasing desperate social issues. It describes a group of small figures from the poverty line. Coming from different backgrounds, they gathered here in a 24hr fast food restaurant and helping each other without purposes. The film reveals the poor's livelihood and never satisfied housing issues, which deserves attention and discussion to the society

Wong Hing-fan

Wong Hing Fan throws himself into the movie industry since 1996, he has served as associate director for more than 30 movies, his film credits in include Black Mask (1996), A Hero Never Dies (1998), Accident (2009), and so on. In 2019, Wong made his directional debut for the feature i’m livin’ it.
